Valley water
These hills sit on real hot-spring ground. A handful of day baths are roughly ten minutes away — smaller and quieter than the famous spa towns further south. What we love most shifts with renovations and seasons, so we speak it aloud rather than freeze a list here.
The bath upstairs from the stream
The lodge’s own deep bath is there every night — for powder days when another drive feels like too much, or for children who are not ready for a public onsen.
A day that closes gently
Mid-afternoon off the hill, a soak before supper, then the stove and the sound of water. Ask us to time the ski transfer so the bath still fits.
